UPDATE
In response to the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, Fruitcrown Products has taken the following measures to ensure the health and safety of our Company, AND also our Customers
WE RECENTLY
Completed the first of our two (2) annual Food Safety training sessions which included Personal Hygiene and the importance of washing and sanitizing hands. During this training session, we reviewed the outbreak and the precautions to take to minimize the potential for contracting and spreading the virus
Conducted individual department meetings with our Production, QC, Warehouse and Sanitation Associates regarding the outbreak and the measures they must take while at work, as well as at home, to minimize the potential for contracting and spreading the virus
Increased our daily sanitation/cleaning and sanitizing activities throughout our Facilities including production areas, break rooms, locker rooms and general areas throughout our Facilities
Installed additional touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout our Facilities
During our recent monthly HACCP Team Meeting, we reviewed our business Continuity Plan that includes the potential for a pandemic such as the current outbreak to make sure our systems are in place and working
REGARDING MATERIAL SUPPLY IMPACT
We have reached out to our Suppliers to ensure we have an uninterrupted supply of material to Fruitcrown
Placed additional orders to maintain an adequate inventory of materials
We have also reviewed our processing procedures / critical control points with our Production and QC Associates to ensure we maintain the processing conditions necessary to effectively provide a quality and safe finished product.
